The College has an Alumni Association which serves as a link between its past and present students. Over nearly six decades of its existence, the college has produced thousands of commerce graduates who have been serving throughout the length and breadth of the country as businessmen, industrialists, chartered accountants, Government officials, advocates, politicians, tax consultants etc. Their expertise and varied experiences are made available to the students of the present generation by arranging lectures and discussions so that the present-day students too can develop proper competence and skills to meet the challenges thrown out to them. The Alumni Association encourages talented students by giving Cash Prizes to them every year and helps the college by donating educational equipments/tools in furthering its progress.

Activities and support from the Alumni Association

The Alumni Association of the college has a very powerful and well-placed contingent of students. Many of its members have been highly successful in various spheres of life. It has kept a constant touch with the college and comes forward with a helping hand whenever some assistance is sought from it. The Chief Guest - who inaugurated the activities of College Gymkhana and Associations at the beginning of the year - Sri. Gopalkrishna Hegde is the past student of our college.

The following assistance has been received by the college from Alumni Association

Award of scholarships to top scorers in each class and also to the Best-Sportsman
Short-term in plant training to the students at the industrial units owned by the alumni
Interaction of alumni entrepreneurs with the aspiring student entrepreneurs

On the auspicious occasion of Lingaraj Jayanthi held on 10th January 2007 the cash prizes to the tune of Rs. 15,000/- were awarded to the outstanding meritorious students

ALUMNI ASSOCIATION

The Alumni Association has a strong a force of alumni. The legacy of alumni has in its fold a number of eminent industrialists, Chartered Accountants, businessmen, Company Secretaries, Professors, officers and executives in financial institutions and organizations.
The cream of alumni consists of Speaker of Karnataka Legislative Assembly, Ministers, MLAs, Chairmen of various Boards of the State, Mayor, Corporators such as Shri. Jagadish Shettar, Sri. Shivanna Koujalagi, Sri. M. S. Akki, Sri. Ashok Katwe, Sri. Veeranna Savadi, Sri. Vijayanand Hoskoti, Sri. Ashok Jadhav, Sri. Rajanna Koravi, Sri. H. M. Doddamani etc.,
Eminent sports persons Sri. Avinash Vaidya, Sri. Rajesh Kamath, Sri. Pramod Kamath and Sri. Manoj Malhotra who represented Karnataka & Goa Ranji Teams and a large number of University Blues in Cricket, Athletics, Football, Hockey, Kabaddi and Volleball were from the stream of our alumni.
The Alumni Association awards a scholarship of Rs. 2,500/- to the top scorers amongst Boys & Girls in both PUC and B.Com classes.
The Association has donated OHPs, LCD and other teaching materials to the college. Recently, it has granted a sum of Rs. 50,000/- for the purchase of books to the Department of Post-Graduate Studies in Commerce.
