Ninety three years ago a small dream took shape in the minds of seven teachers whom the KLE family reveres as the “Saptarshis”. They took upon themselves the noble task of illuminating the lives of millions of people residing in North Karnataka with the light of knowledge. They were ably supported by munificent donations in land, labour and money. It is this legacy of selfless sacrifice, commitment to truth, and, love for the unfortunate which constitute the foundations of the K L E saga.
Today the K L E Society has emerged as a socially responsive and responsible player in the field of education. Nearly 205 institutions encompassing almost every stream of learning function under its umbrella. Most of them are known for their excellent infra-structure and academic ambience.
I along with all the members of K L E family pledge to take the society to greater heights. The vision of quality education to people will be sustained at all costs.
